Education Qualification

All the candidates must satisfy the TSSPDCL Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria such as the required educational qualifications to be able to apply for the post of the AE. The educational qualifications are mentioned below:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission / AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a pass in Section-'A' & 'B' of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 

Nationality

TSSPDCL AE Exam Pattern

The TSSPDCL Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern must be followed as prescribed by the exam conducting board. The written test comprises two sections as core subjects and general subjects. The core subjects comprises 80% of questions whereas the general subjects comprises the remaining 20% of questions. Candidates who receive their TSSPDCL Assistant Engineer Admit card are allowed to attend the written examination. The exam pattern for the exam is as follows:

  • A total number of 100 questions are asked in the exam
  • The exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • The duration of the exam is 120 minutes
