SSB Constable 2024 Exam

SSB Constable Tradesman 2023 Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) invites applications to fill 543 vacancies of Constables (Carpenter, Blacksmith, Driver, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Veterinary, Painter, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Cook & Water Carrier) through SSB Tradesman Recruitment 2023 Notification from 20 May 2023 to 18 June 2023. The candidates who want to get this opportunity can apply through online mode.

Before applying, the candidate should read the information given here and the SSB Tradesman Recruitment 2023 official notification issued by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) . 

 Tentative exam dates for the cycle 2023 are provided below: 
 

Applicants should keep in mind that an Admit Card is mandatory for the written Exam. Absence of possession of anAdmit Card for any applicant will end up in denied admission to the exam hall thereby not being able toparticipate in the written exam. The Admit Card for SSB Constable Recruitment 2022 will be available on the website of SSB before the exam date.
 

1. Applicants must log on to theofficial website SSB Recruitment.
2. Click on the tab that says - “Admit Card”
3. Next, you need to look for the “Constable Driver/ Tradesman” Option.
4. On clicking, you will be redirected to the Download Admit Card Option.
5. Now you will have to log in with provisional id & password.
6. Just click on the download admit card optionand then presssubmit.
7. You will be able to download then print the admit card.

The factors involved in the final selection include- merit, their category, and a compiled reportof the Review Medical Examination. It is herewith highlighted that the applicants who only obtain the qualifying marks and found medically fit, may not be weighed for final selection since the cut off marks will be determined based on several vacancies after the completion of the whole recruitment process. Where equal marks have been obtained by candidates their merit will be fixed as per the following:

• A candidate who secures more marks in the Trade Test will be-ranked higher.
• In the case where marks mentioned at (a) above are also equal, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.
• The candidates will be given priority based on the alphabets of their names, in case, date of births are also the same.

The Board of Officers detailed by SSB will be conducting the PET and PST at various SSB Locations.
 

Candidates declared qualified in Physical Standard Test (PST) will have to appear in a written examination which will be conducted as per the following:

• The CT (GD) written examination will consist of Objective Type Questions
• Each Question Carries One Mark i.e.the total number of questions is 100
• Time Duration is2 Hrs.
• The question papers will be bilingual i.e. English or Hindi

Documentation will be conducted by a Board of Officers and secretarial staff as detailed by SSB, in which all the original documents as claimed by the candidate during filling of online application will be checked properly and duly attested photocopies of the same will be sought from the candidates for placing in their dossiers

The skill test for all the posts will be of 50 marks, the minimum qualifying marks for all candidates including SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be 60%.Trade tests for all posts will be qualifying in nature. No marks of trade test will be included in the marks of Paper-I for preparation of the final merit list.
 

The Detailed Medical Examination will be conducted as per the Revised Medical Guidelines issued by ADG (Medical) on 20.05.2015 and amendments thereof.

• A provisional registration number and password will be sent on the registeredEmail ID and Mobile number.

• On receiving the registration no. and password, log in to complete the application procedure.
• Fill up the personal, academic details, and communication details correctly.
• Upload the photograph, signature.
• Upload the required documents in the correct format.
• Verify the details entered in the form before paying the application fee.
• After verification, pay the required application fee.
• Your application form for SSB Constable Bharti 2022 will be accepted provisionally after you have paid the application fee.
