The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts IAF Group X and Y exam every year for the recruitment of young minds to serve the nation. The selection of candidates for these positions is done through a written exam which is followed by a physical fitness and adaptability test. It is considered one of the best entry-level jobs for candidates who dream of serving the motherland by joining the defence forces.
As per the Air Force Agneepath recruitment 2022, the exam dates are as follows:

The Indian Air Force recruits Airmen in Group X & Group Y for the next course. The IAF has invited online applications for unmarried male citizens of India & Nepal. Below are the eligibility criteria for various entries under the Tour of Duty scheme. Make sure interested male candidates must fulfil the entire Indian Air Force Group X Y eligibility criteria. Candidates failing to fulfil the Indian Air Force Group X Y eligibility criteria 2022 will not be allowed to participate in the recruitment process.

Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English |
Other subjects: Passed 10+2/Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central or State Education Boards with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Passed 2 years vocational course from Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English |
Note: -
Candidates eligible for the Group 'X' examination (based on the percentage of intermediate/10+2) are also eligible for Group Y and would have the choice of appearing for both Group X and Group Y exams. This choice can be mentioned while completing the online registration form.
The aggregate percentage of marks mentioned before the decimal will be considered. The rounding off of marks/percentages is not allowed. That means, 49.99% will not be considered 50%.
Medical Standards:Even before the written exam, one needs to appear for a medical examination, below is a list of medical standards for Indian Air Force Group X & Y 2022:

Note: Permanent tattoos on the body are not permitted in the military, however, tattoos on the inner face of the forearms, back/reverse side of the palm, and cultural & tribal tattoos may be considered.
