A total of 5486 vacancies have been released along with the official notification for the SBI Recruitment 2022. SBI Clerk Eligibility

Candidates must know all the eligibility criteria required for the SBI Clerk 2022 for the various posts. The eligibility criteria such as age limit, educational qualification, etc are described below.
 

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2022)

The minimum age for a candidate to apply for the SBI examination is 20 years old but not more than 28 years old, i.e. candidates must be born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category-wise candidates as per the government rules:

The SBI Clerk Admit Card is released nearly 10 to 15 days before the exam. The applicants can download the admit from the official website of SBI. SBI Clerk Salary

SBI provides a handsome and lucrative salary to its employees, the important points for SBI Junior Associates Salary are as follows:

  • The revised SBI Clerk Pay Scale is Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-
    1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The initial salary package of an SBI Clerk in a Metro city like Mumbai has been revised to Rs 29000/- per month that including the Dearness Allowance (D.A) other allowances.
  • The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)
  • A candidate will be serving a period of 6 months on probation.
  • Further, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated before the probation period comes to an end and the probation period of those employees whose performance does not meet the expectation may be extended.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

There are two papers in the SBI Clerk examination. The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern for Prelims and Mains is almost the same. The only difference is in the total number of questions, time duration, and weightage of sections.
 

Prelims Exam Pattern
  • The SBI Clerk Prelims exam has 3 sections. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
  • The duration of the exam is 1 hour.
  • There is a negative marking in the Prelims exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • There is a separate timing for all the sections.
  • There is no sectional cutoff for this exam.
  • After qualifying for this exam, the candidates become eligible to appear in the Mains exam.

  • There is a fixed time provided to solve all the sections.
  • There is one-fourth negative marking for every wrong answer.
  • After qualifying the cutoff marks of the mains examination, the candidates become eligible to appear in the local language exam.

Language Exam Pattern

This is the last stage exam in the SBI Clerk exam. The candidates who qualify in the Mains exam are eligible to appear for this exam. This test is not compulsory for all candidates. The candidates who could not provide evidence for their language proficiency need to appear for this exam.

The candidates who give evidence for their language in their qualification mark sheet do not need to appear for this exam. The candidates can show the proof of language by providing the class 10th and 12th standard mark sheets or certificates.


SBI Clerk Cut off

SBI Clerk Result 2022 will be declared once both phases are concluded. SBI will publish results individually for both preliminary and mains exam. SBI releases sectional cut-offs for both – SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam and SBI Clerk Mains Exam. Aspirants are required to meet the cut-offs for all the sections to make it to the merit list.

SBI Clerk Qualification

(a) He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
(b) Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
(c) Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam.
