RBI Assistant 2023 : Every year, the RBI Assistant Exam is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to fill the vacancies for the posts of Assistants in various branches of the RBI across India. RBI Assistant is responsible for maintaining records/files, document verification, ensuring financial stability, issuing & circulating new currency, day-to-day transactions, attending Government Treasury Work, replying to emails and more. Reserve Bank of India has released the RBI Assistant Notification 2023 for the Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – PY 2023 on 13th September 2023 on its official website along with complete details for the exam. RBI Assistant Eligibility

All the candidates are required to check the RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria before applying for the posts released by RBI. The candidates must have the prescribed educational qualifications and must fulfil the age criteria to apply for the job of Assistant official as offered by the Reserve Bank of India.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit to apply for the post of RBI Assistant is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years old. However, there are relaxations of age for the candidates belonging to different reserved categories.

Age Relaxations

The relaxations in age limit are provided according to the government norms. The details of category-wise age relaxations are given below.

RBI Assistant Selection

Mains Exam Pattern 2023 - (Phase 2)

The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary examination are called for the Mains examination. The Mains exam tests candidates based on 5 subjects. Out of these 5 subjects, 3 are the same as the Prelims exam with a difference in difficulty level and 2 are new subjects.
