Salary OSCB Banking Assistant

As per the OSCB Notification, any Banking Assistant in OSCB will carry the scale of pay of 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of 2000. Various allowances offered to Banking Assistants are given below:

• Dearness Allowances
• HRA 
• Travel Allowances 
• Other permissible allowances.

Salary of an OSCB Assistant Manager 

Any person appointed as Assistant Manager in OSCB bank will carry a pay scale of 9300-34800 with grade pay of 4200 along with other permissible allowances like dearness allowances and other allowance.

Salary of an OSCB System Manager

The salary of a System Manager will be the same as an Assistant Manager with a pay scale of 9300-34800 with grade pay of 4200 along with other permissible allowances like dearness allowances and other allowance.

Probation Period: Any person appointed as Banking Assistant or Assistant/System  Manager will be kept under probation of 24 months in which they have to give prescribed half-yearly tests. After completion of the probation period, candidates will be analyzed on the basis of their performance in the test. If found unsuitable candidates will be given another six months to improve their performance.

• Preliminary Examination
• Mains Examination
• Viva-Voce Test

Candidates who are preparing for the OSCB exam need to know all the important topics under the subject-wise OSCB Syllabus from which the questions will be asked in the paper. OSCB Syllabus 2022: List of Important Topics

Preliminary Exam: It will be an online test consisting of 100 questions divided into 4 sections needed to be attempted in 60 minutes (1 Hour). Each Question has a weightage of 1 mark. There will be a sectional time limit of 20 minutes for each section.

OSCB Preliminary Test Exam Pattern

Note: - A Penalty of .25 marks will be applied for every wrong answer as negative marking

Mains Examination: This exam will consist of 160 questions needed to be attempted in 140 minutes. The weightage of each question is 1 mark and a sectional time limit of each section will be 40 minutes. 

OSCB Mains Exam Pattern

There will be a negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer.

Viva Voce Test: Candidates who clear both the papers will have to appear in Viva Voce. 

Final selection will be made on the basis of marks in the Preliminary and Mains exams and performance in Viva Voce.

OSCB Cut off is the minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates in order to clear any paper and proceed further in the selection process. As in OSCB Recruitment, cutoff is applied in 2 stages given below:

• On score in Individual Test
• On Total Score

That means that candidates have to clear both the paper on the basis of OSCB cut off marks and also the final selection will also be made through cutoff marks for the total of the score obtained in both the examinations.
