NABARD Grade A Salary

The candidates must have detailed knowledge of the NABARD Grade A 2023 salary to accurately analyze the work profile. The starting salary of NABARD Grade A (Assistant Manager) is 28,150/- per month on the scale of 28150-1550(4) -34350-1750(7) 46600 EB - 1750(4)- 53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to Officers in Grade along with other benefits. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately  61,000/.

NABARD Grade A Selection

There are three main important sections in NABARD Grade A Selection Process. They are as follows:

Preliminary Exam:-

This is the Phase 1 of the selection process. The preliminary exam will consists of objective type questions.

 Mains Exam:-

Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will receive a call letter for the Mains Exam, also known as Phase 2 Exam.

Interview:-

The candidates who have qualified for the mains examination will be called for a personal interview round and document verification. The interview contains 25 marks. Generally, Double the number of the total vacancies are selected based on cut-off.

The final result is prepared after combining the marks obtained in the mains examination and personal interview.

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern

The selection procedure for various NABARD grade A posts is done in three stages -

  • Interview
  • Mains exam
  • Preliminary exam
Prelims Exam Pattern

The first step in the process is the prelims exam, which is of qualified nature as in the final selection, marks obtained in the prelims exam will not be counted. It contains 200 multiple-type questions. For every wrong answer, 25% marks are deducted. Two hours are provided for this exam.

Mains Exam Pattern

Candidates who have qualified for the prelims appear for the mains exam. Generally, four times the total number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam based on the cut-off. It contains two papers:

  • Paper 1 - General English common for all, it is a descriptive paper
  • Paper 2 - General Post-Economic and Social issues and Agriculture and Rural Development
 

Marking Scheme:

  • Paper two will be multiple choice type.
  • For every wrong answer, 25% or 1/4 marks will be deducted as negative marking

OR a postgraduate degree in Information Technology/Computer Technology/Computer Science/Computer Applications from a recognised institute/university with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Agriculture Engineering Bachelor s degree in agriculture from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognised university/institution with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
General Bachelor s Degree in any discipline from a recognised Institute/University with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (SC/ST/PWD applicants will receive a 5% relaxation). OR a Master s degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be granted to SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a bachelor s degree with a Ph.D./CA/CS/CWA. OR a 2-year full-time MBA degree or full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management from an Institute recognised by the Government of India / UGC, plus a Bachelor s Degree in any discipline.
General Agriculture Bachelor s degree in agriculture from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Engineering with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be granted to SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Food Processing Bachelor s degree / Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Food Processing /Food Technology with at least 50% in aggregate (SC/ST/PWD applicants will receive a 5% relaxation). OR a postgraduate degree in food processing/food technology from a recognised university/institution with at least 50% (relaxation of 5% will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants) in aggregate.
Land Development Soil Science Bachelor s Degree in Agriculture/Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (SC/ST/PWD applicants will receive a 5% relaxation). OR a postgraduate degree in Agriculture/Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Agriculture Engineering Bachelor s degree in agriculture from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognised university/institution with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Agriculture marketing/Agri-Business Management Bachelor s Degree in Agriculture Business Management/Agriculture Marketing with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation would be given to SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR two years of full-time study Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Degree/ MBA in Agriculture Marketing/ Agriculture Business Management from a recognised university or institution with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (Relaxation of 5% would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Environment A bachelor s degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science as a subject and a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be offered for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a postgraduate degree in environmental engineering or environmental science from a recognised university or institution with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be granted to SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Chartered Accountant Membership in the ICAI and graduation in any discipline from a recognised institute/university (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India membership must be received on or before January 1, 2022.
Geo Informatics In aggregate, a B Tech/BE/Bs.C. degree in Geo-Informatics with a minimum of 50% marks (a 5% relaxation will be offered for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR an M. Tech./M.E./Ms.C. degree in Geoinformatics from a recognised university/institute with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Statistics Bachelor s degree in statistics with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (relaxation of 5% will be offered for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a postgraduate degree in statistics from a recognised institute/university with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation will be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Agricultural Economics/Economics Bachelor s Degree in Agriculture Economics/Economics with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a postgraduate degree in Agriculture Economics/ Economics from a recognised university/ institute with at least 50% in aggregate (a 5% relaxation would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
Company Secretary Associate membership in ICSI and a bachelor s degree in any discipline (Institute of Company Secretaries of India ). The Institute of Company Secretaries of India membership must be obtained on or before January 1, 2022.
Human Resource Management Bachelor s degree with at least 50% marks in BBM (Human Resource Management), BBA (Human Resource Management), or BMS (Human Resource Management) (Relaxation of 5% would be allowed for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR, a two-year full-time MBA in HRM or HR/a two-year full-time postgraduate diploma in HRM/HR management from a recognised institute/university.
Finance Bachelor s degree in finance/banking, such as BMS (Finance/Banking) or BBA (Finance/Banking) with at least 50% in aggregate (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD applicants). OR a two-year full-time MBA (Finance) / full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Finance) / a degree from a University/Institute recognised by the Government of India / the University Grants Commission. OR a bachelor s degree in finance and investment analysis with a minimum of 50% (SC/ST/PWD applicants will be granted a 5% relaxation).

Step 1- Registration 2022
  • Go to the official website www.nabard.com
  • Go to the career section on the left header and click on the apply option and a new page will be opened
