IDBI Assistant manager 2024 Exam

The Online Test for IDBI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2023 has been scheduled for 16th April 2023 (Sunday) as announced by IDBI through an official notice. The complete details for IDBI Assistant Manager Exam will be released along with IDBI Assistant Manager Admit Card 2023. 

IDBI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2023 Registration's last date has been extended till 12th March 2023. IDBI online registration, exam dates and other important dates which have been updated here in below table too. 

There are some basic criteria that the candidates should fulfil to be eligible for the post of Assistant Manager at IDBI Bank. Some of these are mentioned below:

Age Limit: The Candidate should be aged under 20-28 years at the time of sitting for the exam.
 

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Graduation Degree from any recognized university in any discipline with an aggregate of 55% or an equivalent degree which is thereby recognized by the Central Government.Final year candidates can apply provisionally, although if they are selected for the interview they will be required to present their Graduation Passing results.

Required Qualification: Candidate be skilled in computers

Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian Citizen. Apart from this, candidates who have migrated to other south Asian countries such as Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Tibet, to acquire permanent residence (PR)

Job Experience: There is no compulsion that a candidate should possess relevant job experience.

Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt as many times as they wish to unless they fall under the age criteria at the time of the exam.

Age Relaxation: Candidates from some specific categories are allowed age relaxation as mentioned below:

The vacancy for the year 2023 has been announced with the release of the IDBI Assistant Manager Notification. A total of 600 vacancies is announced for Grade “A” Assistant Manager in IDBI Bank. The candidates can have a look at the category-wise vacancy distribution of last year from the below table.

The admit card for the IDBI Assistant Manager Recruitment has been uploaded three to four days before the date of the exam. It would contain the personal details of the candidate, date of exam, timings, exam center, and other important instructions which they will be required to follow.

Steps to download the admit card are as follows:

1. The candidate will be required to visit the official website of IDBI bank.
2. In the new notification section, there will be an option "Download admit card".
3. After clicking on that, candidates will have to submit their application registration number, date of birth, and password.
4. The admit card will appear on their screen. After cross-checking their details, they should download the admit card for future references.

The candidates will be first selected for a 9 month training period with a stipend of Rs. 2,500/- per month and then will be promoted to 3 months of Internship Period with a stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month. Once the probation period is complete and selected candidates are recruited for Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ posts, for which the basic pay is Rs.36,000/- per month and the pay scale is- 36000-1490(7)-46430-1740 (2) –49910–1990(7)-63840 (17 years).

There is a 3 step-selection procedure for all the posts. This selection procedure is the same for all the categories:

Online Computer Based Test: It will contain a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The time duration of the exam will be two hours.
Group Discussion: Candidates will be divided into small groups of 5-7. They will be given certain topics on which they will have to have a formal discussion amongst themselves.
Personal Interview: Candidates who will qualify the online CBT exam and the Group Discussion, will be called for the personal interview. Candidates will be asked questions from personal life, experience, educational background, current affairs and more.
Document Verification: The documents that candidates have to submit for verifying their identification are as follows:

• Proof of identity
• Proof of age
• Education Transcripts
• Caste Certificate
• Domicile Certificate

Since five sections will be covered in the exam. The coverage of the professional ability section will be depending on the post for which the candidate has applied. The syllabus has been mentioned below in a detailed manner:

The exam will be of two and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. The Computer Based online test will be following the pattern as follows:

The expected cut-off for the year 2022 is following the minimum marks candidates will be required to score to clear the first stage of the selection process, the online computer-based test. However, the cut-off varies with different categories.

To apply online for the available vacancies, candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Candidates should visit the official website and select the page as mentioned, "Career."
2. They will then be required to click on the option, "New Registration" and get registered into the portal, mentioning all the required personal details such as full name, email-id, date of birth, and so on.
3. After this, they will have to submit a scanned copy of their recent original photograph and signature.
4. After going through the instructions manual, they will have to accept the information given.
5. Before submitting the final application, candidates are strictly advised to crosscheck their details before submitting.
