About IBPS RRB Exam

IBPS RRB Notification 2023: IBPS RRB Exam is conducted every year by IBPS for selection for the post of both IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks spread across the country. For selection to the post of both Assistant and Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) spread across the country, IBPS organises IBPS RRB Exam every year.The detailed IBPS RRB (CRP RRBs-XII) Notification 2023 will be released with eligibility criteria, online application link, vacancies, selection process, exam centres, pattern and syllabus etc. 


IBPS RRB Exam Date

IBPS has released exam dates for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023 along with its IBPS Calendar 2023. IBPS RRB Clerk (Office Assistants) Prelims exam is scheduled to be held on the 12th, 13th, and 19th of August 2023, and the PO (Officier Scale 1) prelims exam will be held on the 5th and 6th of August 2023.

IBPS RRB Notification 2023 has been released and the last date to fill out the online registration for IBPS RRB recruitment 2023 has been extended till 28th June 2023. The candidates preparing for IBPS RRB 2023 can check the important dates from the below table and plan their preparation accordingly. IBPS RRB Eligibility

The candidates must have to complete the following eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS RRB 2022. The eligibility includes education qualification, age limit, and experience, which have been detailed here.

  • For Officer Scale- III-Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years.
  • For Officer Scale-II-Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years.
  • For Officer Scale- I-Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years.
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years.

IBPS RRB Clerk mains admit card 2022 is expected to be released by the third week of September 2022. IBPS RRB PO mains admit card 2022 is expected to be released by the second week of September 2022. IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

As you know the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.

Office Assistant Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB Assistant 2022, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam

No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.

Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB PO 2022, the exam will be conducted in three phases:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Interview Process

The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate inboth IBPS RRB Mains Exam and the Interview.There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate.
