Kollam, formerly Known as Quilon, is an ancient center of culture and maritime trade. The city of Kollam gained it's lost place of pride in modern times with the establishment of the Sree Narayana Colleges by Sri.R.Sankar. More recently , the Sree Narayana Educational Society established in 1986 has contributed much to the educational revival of this ancient city.
