Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and technology, (RGMCET) Nandyal is located in a 50 acres site at Nerawada cross roads,10 Kms from Nandyal town on the way to kurnool on NH-18. The former Prime Minister Shri P.V.Narasimha Rao and the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N.Chandra Babu Naidu have inaugurated RGMCET. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and permitted by state Govt of Andhra Pradesh. This is the first private Engineering college affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad at both UG and PG levels.The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation.
