Raja College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai was established by the Arun Ramkumar Educational Trust founded by PMJF.Lion G. Nagarajan. The College started functioning during the academic year 1995-96 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Tamilnadu. The College has obtained ISO 9001-2008 Certification. The College is located in a sprawling campus around 6 kms from Anna Bus stand on Madurai-Sivagangai road.
