The main campus of NIT Sikkim has been sanctioned and is to come up on an approximate area of three hundred acres of land in Khamdong, east Sikkim. It is a built up location in terms of conveyance and means of communication. To add to the promising academic environment of NIT Sikkim, it will be located within a stone’s throw from the Kendriya Vidyalaya, NHPC stage V Singtam. Perhaps the best Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sikkim.
