The college started functioning from the academic year 2009-10, initially with four branches with a total intake of 240 students. The college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati, University. The present intake of the College is 480 students with five core branches of Engineering at B.E. Level. The Institute has started four M.E. Courses from 2013-14 like Mechanical CAD-CAM, Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering & Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with total intake 96, which makes the highest intake among all Engineering Colleges in Yavatmal City in a short span of time.
