EIT, an Engineering College is located at Ummathur Village on a green campus of 18 acres at a radius of 25 km from Chamarajanagar, Kollegal, T.Narasipur, Gundlu pet, Yelandur and well connected by Road and Railways from Mysore. EIT came into existence in the year of 2009-10 with clear mission of providing Technical Education under the guidance of SGN Charitable Trust. The premises of the college are surrounded by hilly regions with good academic atmosphere which makes the student to necessitate the co-existence with the nature.
