Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) as a constituent college of Dibrugarh University was established in year 2009. The four year Bachelor of Technology programmes offered by the institute aims to produce and empower young minds who would shine in the future as versatile engineers and contribute to the industrial sectors of the North-Eastern region in particular and the country in general. At present, DUIET offers B.Tech programmes in four branches, namely Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering with intake capacity of 60 students per branch.
