All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology, Pune, was Established in August 1999. This college is a self financing college and is affiliated to University of Pune. It is approved by AICTE and Director Of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The College, Centrally Located in the heart of Pune City is about 1 KM from Pune and Shivaji Nagar Railway Stations. Students from SC/ST category eligible for the scholarship can avail book bank facility and each student can borrow 5 books for one semester. The library has subscribed 4 databases as IEEE, ELSEVIER, DELNET Consortium and Knimbus. Text books mentioned in the University syllabus of all the subjects for Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering are available in the library. Books of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Science which are required for the first year engineering students are also available. Separate reading halls are provided for faculty members and students. The reading hall for the students is airy, well-illuminated and spacious to accommodate up to 200 students. |
