As we are passing through one of the biggest pandemic during the history of humankind in the last 2000 years, health-care has become of the of key industry vertical to offer support to human life. We are also experiencing acute shortage of skilled people in the field of health-care to take care of people who are suffering.
Facing these challenges in the recent times have forced governments across the globe to see health-care from different perspectives. The pandemic has taught us all that we need a lot more people in health-care than in any other industry verticals. People in this sector not just help people recover from illness but also improve quality of lives by various means. Basically we need more people to join the workforce in health-care. Hoping, there would be exponential growth in the job opportunities in this sector, the generation-X would choose medical, bio-medical, bio-tech and related programs to build their careers where they can also be part of life-saving machinery.
Apart from MBBS and related programs, many universities across India would also be starting courses that would help students become part of health-care industry in one way or the other. The admissions in health related programs would ensure the wellness of our future generations. Jobs in any sector depends on demand the population has generated. Most of the time the demand is generated by innovation or new product/services that affect people's lives. However, the pandemic has proved that we are all vulnerable to viruses and need an excellent health-care system that can handle the extreme pressure and fight for saving lives.
There would be plenty of opportunities in pharma companies, pharma-tech companies, electronics industry dealing in medical devices, Testing labs, diagnostic centers, nursing, yoga & Ayurveda & physiotherapy. Students should select the college/university that has intensive programs and faculty that can develop skills that health system needs this time.
